Wisconsin's Medicaid Program - and the Impact on Hospitals -- presented to Medicaid Reform Committee 4-20-05
For many Wisconsin health care organizations, government payment program beneficiaries represent a significant portion of the total patients served each year, and reimbursements from these programs comprise a significant percentage of revenues. WHA closely monitors state and federal budget provisions for these programs, as well as operational issues that affect its members.
WHA is also a primary source for facts and information about Wisconsins health care providers. WHA helps its members gather, analyze and interpret data to provide health professionals, government officials, media representatives and the public a clear understanding of the complex and changing health care environment.
The menu items provide an online sample of the reimbursement and health care information WHA can provide.
