In any given year, the WHA will track dozens of issues impacting hospitals. For example, in 2005 WHA was involved in legislation that ranged from restoring a cap on non-economic damages (AB 766, AB 1073) to opposing the Taxpayer Protection Amendment. Each of these issues must be reported to the State of Wisconsin Ethics Board.
