Jennifer Miller

Jennifer Miller

Jennifer has 20 years of experience cultivating workforce initiatives to improve the employee experience and align it with organizational mission and priorities. As principal of Huron’s healthcare business, she serves as a senior adviser to executive leadership and is actively engaged in the development of future-focused strategies, designing and executing events to develop talent across the industry and navigating change across the businesses. Jennifer previously served as director of human resources for five years, where she provided leadership for talent management functions to drive growth in revenue and staffing for Huron’s healthcare business. In this role she drove focus on employee engagement, reducing the turnover rate from 17% to 14% in two years. She also designed a new compensation plan and approach that increased employee engagement as well as implemented a talent review program that resulted in approximately 50% of high-potential employees advancing to new opportunities. Additionally, Jennifer served as an adviser to leadership on a range of topics, including organization design, success planning, communications and complex employee relations. Prior to Huron, Jennifer served as an international human resources manager at Jones Lang LaSalle. During this time she provided support to global businesses within the firm, managed all recruiting activities, and enhanced and managed the firm’s international staff exchange program, working with global regional coordinators to identify program participants, assign placements, structure compensation packages, and provide ongoing support to assignees and managers. Jennifer holds a Master of Science in human resources from Loyola University and a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Boston University. She is also Hogan-certified in Hogan Personality Inventory; Hogan Development Survey; and Hogan Motives, Values, Preferences Inventory.



Buffy Kelly

Buffy Kelly

Buffy leads performance improvement and workforce optimization engagements for healthcare organizations, driving results quickly while building a sustainable model to ensure clients can maintain the savings they achieve long term. She has experience in management structure redesign, span of control, operational improvement implementation, and work redesign in clinical and corporate services areas. Buffy also has expertise in facilitating organizational change to drive financial improvements, including incorporating automation and virtual solutions, enabling remote workforces, outsourcing, redesigning and optimizing staffing and how work is done, breaking down siloes, and creating opportunities to function better as a system. She also brings expertise in union environments. Prior to joining Huron, Buffy worked in multiple healthcare organizations as a front-line clinical laboratory scientist and in laboratory management, and also owned her own consulting firm. Buffy earned her Master of Science in leadership from Southwestern College and her Bachelor of Science in medical technology from the University of Wyoming. Buffy is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and the American Society for Clinical Laboratory Science (ASCLS).
