Nadine Allen, BS, MBA, CPHQ

Nadine Allen is the Chief Quality Officer for the Wisconsin Hospital Association. In this role, she provides executive leadership of a variety of health care quality improvement efforts, including the CMS Hospital Quality Improvement contract (HQIC), WHA’s CheckPoint public reporting of quality measures website, and represents WHA on several state and national quality improvement taskforces and advisory groups.  Nadine is also the Enterprise-Wide Systems Director for the Superior Health Quality Alliance (SHQA) whereby WHA is a founding member.  SHQA is a CMS-approved contractor for patient and community health care quality and safety work. As a member of Superior Health’s Board and Leadership team, Nadine oversees and directs the selection and implementation of shared systems which include data collection, communications, internal and external learning platforms, and internal quality control. 

Her experience working in multiple industries (manufacturing, education, and healthcare) focusing on project management and quality improvement across multiple topic areas has allowed for over 20 years of business analysis, strategic planning, and working with all levels of organizational staff.  Additionally, she has experience managing multiple federal and state contracts and has worked in multi-state projects reducing adverse events, reducing infections, and reducing opioid use.  She has over 15 years’ experience teaching adult level college courses.   

Nadine has a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering and a master’s degree in organizational leadership. Allen’s background in health care, education and manufacturing includes experience with Six Sigma and Lean, improvement tools frequently used by WHA member hospitals. 

Emily Holden, BS

Emily Holden, BS Emily Holden is a Healthcare Data Analyst at the Wisconsin Hospital Association Information Center. Previously to her role at WHAIC, she was a recent graduate from the University of Wisconsin – La Crosse with a BS in Public Health.

Jennifer Mueller, MBA, RHIA, FACHE, FAHIMA

Jennifer Mueller, MBA, RHIA, FACHE, FAHIMA is the vice president and privacy officer at the Wisconsin Hospital Association Information Center, located in Madison Wisconsin. Prior to starting in this role, Ms. Mueller was the vice president and chief information officer at Watertown Regional Medical Center in Watertown Wisconsin.
She is an active participant in a number of professional organizations on both the national and Wisconsin levels. Nationally, she is a member of, and holds Fellow certifications from both the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) and the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE).  In Wisconsin, she is the Past-President (twice) of the Wisconsin Health Information Management Association (WHIMA), is active in the Wisconsin Chapter of the Health Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) and the HIPAA Collaborative of WI (HIPAACOW). She completed a three-year term on the AHIMA board of directors in 2021, and is the incoming President/Chair-Elect 2022. She has also received numerous awards during her career including WHIMA’s Rising Star Award, Motivator Award and the Distinguished member award.
Ms. Mueller is a registered health information administrator and earned both her BS in Health Information Management and her MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
