ED2Recovery+ Program Funding Opportunity – Available Now

The Department of Family Medicine and Community Health/Wisconsin Voices for Recovery has issued its 2023 Request for Proposal (RFP) for the ED2Recovery+ Program. For an overview of the ED2Recovery+ Program, watch the ED2Recovery+ Informational Webinar Recording, which describes: 
 
  • What is peer support
  • The logistics of participation in the Recovery ED2 Recovery+ Program
  • The impact and benefits of peer support – a peer recovery coach’s journey from addict, to recovery, to peer recovery coach
  • A hospital’s experience with ED2Recovery – Bellin Health
  • ED2Recovery Funding Opportunities – June 2023
 Funds support provision of peer support services within and outside of emergency department settings which can be used by employee recovery coaches and/or Wisconsin certified peer support specialists to provide support to individuals with an opioid or stimulant use disorder referred from emergency departments, first responders, the legal system and other community settings.
