Last Chance in 2024: Implement MOVIN to Enhance Patient Care and Outcomes

Only one spot remains in 2024 to support the implementation of MOVIN (Mobilizing Older Adults Via a Nursing-driven Intervention). MOVIN is an innovative, evidence-based model designed to enhance care quality and improve patient outcomes, particularly for older adults, through early and consistent patient mobilization. This program has demonstrated significant success in reducing hospital-acquired conditions, decreasing lengths of stay and enhancing overall patient satisfaction. Its proven replicability and adaptability make it suitable for a wide range of health care settings, from small rural hospitals to large academic centers.

The Wisconsin Hospital Association (WHA) quality team has partnered with the model's developers, Dr. Barbara King, and Dr. Linsey Steege from the UW-Madison School of Nursing, to offer comprehensive training and support tools for successful MOVIN implementation.

WHA has recognized MOVIN’s potential to drive statewide improvements in patient care. The program’s success is highlighted by Tomah Health, which received the WHA’s 2023 Excellence in Healthcare Quality & Patient Safety Award for their work with MOVIN, underscoring its impact on patient outcomes.

We are eager to discuss how MOVIN can benefit your organization. For more information, contact Jill Lindwall or Nadine Allen. Don’t miss this last chance in 2024 to get MOVIN!
