Celebrate National Health Care Quality Week
Oct. 15-21 is National Health Care Quality Week, which is observed annually in the third week of October. Established by the National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ) in 1985, this is a week to recognize and celebrate health care quality professionals for their unique sacrifices toward ensuring quality service delivery and to appreciate the improvements recorded in health care facilities over the years due to their efforts. It is also a week to spread awareness of the importance of quality health care services and make policies that will facilitate and guarantee the safety of both patients and health care professionals.
