Wisconsin Hospitals State PAC & Conduit Update

The Wisconsin Hospitals State PAC & Conduit continues its strong fundraising campaign with a total of $224,843 contributed to-date by 161 individuals. That is 66% of its goal of raising $340,000 from 315 individuals in 2022. There are 14 first-time contributors so far in 2022, with contributions ranging from $100 - $3,000.

Technical Assistance Coaching Session on Reducing Readmissions Draws Statewide Participation

WHA held its first technical assistance coaching call on July 14, drawing in 30 participants from 20 critical access and small rural hospitals’ continuing participation. This webinar was for the readmissions quality initiative to support rural and critical access hospitals to reduce 30-day readmissions for heart failure, pneumonia, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and heart attack.
