DSPS Offers New Resource to License Holders
CE Broker will simplify continuing education compliance
Wisconsin’s Medical Examining Board (MEB) and the Department of Safety and Professional Services (DSPS) have teamed up to offer a cloud-based continuing education (CE) management tool, CE Broker, to those in occupations licensed by the MEB who must fulfill CE requirements to obtain and renew licensure, including physicians, dieticians, respiratory care practitioners and others. The basic service is free to the state and to license holders, with fee-based upgrades available to individual licensees. DSPS and MEB are hoping this resource helps streamline and simplify the license application and renewal process.
The service will be available to MEB-issued credential holders later this month, and DSPS plans to offer the service to other professions with CE requirements in subsequent rollouts. Further details can be found in the
