Program Description
The 2024 Wisconsin Healthcare Workforce Summit is scheduled for Tuesday, October 8 at the Wilderness Resort in Wisconsin Dells.
“Moving Forward with Our Workforce Strategies” will feature updates from WCMEW’s two key planning work groups, together with success stories on meeting workforce challenges, including:
- Creating Excellent Clinical Learning Environments
- Home Based Hospital Care: An Opportunity for Clinical Professional Fulfillment
- Optimizing Primary Care
- Interprofessional Competencies: Implications for Current and Future “Learners”
- Integrating Soft Skills into Medical Education
- Men Can HEAL: Evidence Of the Need to Promote Healthcare Careers Among Young Men
- Recruiting, Engaging, and Retaining a Rural Physician Workforce
Last year’s Summit drew attendees from all parts of Wisconsin in virtually every area devoted to our workforce.
