Kyle O'Brien

Kyle O’Brien was appointed President and CEO of the Wisconsin Hospital Association (WHA) on July 1, 2025. He joined WHA in December 2012 as Vice President of Government Relations and most recently served as Senior Vice President of Government Relations. In these roles, O’Brien led WHA’s advocacy efforts with state policymakers on key issues affecting Wisconsin hospitals and health systems. Prior to joining WHA, O’Brien served as research staff for several lawmakers in the Wisconsin State Capitol, including on the state’s budget-writing Joint Finance Committee. He later worked as legislative liaison at the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, where he helped shape health policy and legislative strategy. O’Brien holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and marketing from the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse.
