Hospitals Can Apply for No-Cost COVID Surplus Items from DHS
The Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) is inviting health care organizations, local and Tribal health departments, nonprofits and government agencies to fill out a statewide survey to request no-cost surplus supplies from the DHS warehouse. The supplies available include respirators, masks, KN95s, coveralls, gowns, face shields, shoe covers, needles, bandages and thermometers.
The survey will close on Sept. 30 at 4 p.m. DHS will review all orders, and DHS warehouse staff will be in touch regarding your request. In instances where demand exceeds supply, priority will be given to health care organizations. All supplies will then be shipped at no cost.
Find the survey to request supplies online. Contact WHA Senior Vice President of Workforce and Clinical Practice Ann Zenk if you have any questions.
