CMS to Host Webinar on 2025 Hospital Price Transparency Requirements
On Oct. 21, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) will host a webinar on meeting new hospital price transparency requirements that become effective Jan. 1, 2025. The most recent changes became effective July 1, 2024, which require hospitals to use a standard machine-readable file format that includes some new data elements, such as the negotiated rate methodology and an accuracy and completeness statement.
