Beloit Health System Receives Wisconsin Hospital Association's Advocacy All-Star Award
The Wisconsin Hospital Association (WHA) presented its Advocacy All-Star Award to Beloit Health System at the group’s annual Advocacy Day event on April 9 attended by 1,200 advocates. Presented by WHA President and CEO Eric Borgerding, the award recognizes outstanding leadership in advocacy, grassroots engagement, legislative outreach and commitment to strengthening health care policy.
“Beloit Health System has been a great partner and advocate on health care issues this year," said Borgerding. “Their team doesn't just participate — they lead. They have been instrumental in raising the bar on grassroots engagement and ensuring that the voices of hospitals and their communities are heard.”

Tim McKevett, CEO of Beloit Health System, accepted the award on behalf of the organization. "We are honored to receive the Advocacy All-Star award from WHA,” said McKevett. “Advocacy is all about our commitment to our community and our dedication to the health of our residents.”
McKevett acknowledged his team from Beloit Health System who were in attendance and thanked the 1,200 attendees for advocating with lawmakers at the state capitol. “Thank you, all of you in this room. Your efforts across the street ensure that we continue to keep our commitment to our community and the dedication to its health.”
Beloit Health System is a strong partner of WHA, dedicated to advocating for Wisconsin hospitals. Their commitment includes serving on the WHA Board, speaking on behalf of Wisconsin hospitals through testimony to the legislature, and serving as spokespeople for WHA’s issue advocacy campaign, “Stronger Hospitals, Stronger Communities.” Beloit Health System also represents Wisconsin hospitals in Washington, D.C., ensuring Wisconsin’s voice is heard on federal issues impacting health care.
WHA’s Advocacy Day is the premier health care advocacy event in Wisconsin drawing 1,200 attendees representing nearly every hospital and health system in Wisconsin.
