Imran Andrabi, MDFroedtert ThedaCare President & CEO Dr. Imran Andrabi was named 2026 WHA chair-elect at the Oct. 23 WHA Board of Directors meeting in Madison. Andrabi joined the WHA Board in 2019.
As President and CEO of Froedtert ThedaCare, Dr. Andrabi leads a combined system of 19 hospitals and more than 360 outpatient locations, serving communities across the state. He assumed the role in July 2024 following the merger of Froedtert Health and ThedaCare. Since then, he has guided the organization’s strategic direction with a focus on innovation, population health and care integration.
Dr. Andrabi is a board-certified family medicine physician and a fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He earned his medical degree from King Edward Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan, and began his career in the U.S. at Mercy Health in Toledo, Ohio, where he rose from intern to serve as President and CEO.
In addition to his leadership at Froedtert ThedaCare and WHA, Dr. Andrabi serves on numerous boards and councils, including the Wisconsin Collaborative for Healthcare Quality, Vizient Chair Council, Panda Health and United Way Fox Cities.
