2026 WHA Health Care Leadership Academy Kick-off a Success

2026 WHA Leadership AcademyOn Wednesday, February 11, the 2026 WHA Health Care Leadership Academy kicked off in-person at the Fluno Center in Madison. This year’s cohort is made up of 10 WHA member hospital leaders who are invested in growing their knowledge on the business of health care.

In conjunction with the Wisconsin School of Business Center for Professional and Executive Development (CPED), WHA welcomed the group and set the stage for the next several months of instruction. WHA President and CEO Kyle O’Brien addressed the group to speak on the importance of their participation in the program but also commented on his own professional journey. He went on to stress that “each person brings their own unique set of skills, experience and education to this program, but what you all have in common is that you represent the future of Wisconsin hospitals.”

The WHA Health Care Leadership Academy is a 5-month long program, designed by WHA member hospital leadership to best prepare clinicians and non-clinicians for the hospitals of tomorrow. The 2026 program will conclude in June with final instruction and graduation.
