On March 31, WHA Senior Vice President of Workforce and Clinical Practice Ann Zenk kicked off a 4-part webinar series on workforce with an overview of WHA’s annual report. The first session covered the data, analysis and recommendations shared in the WHA 2026 Wisconsin Health Care Workforce Report, providing a foundation for the subsequent sessions. As Zenk noted, “We need to grow the health care workforce faster, but despite our best efforts it’s unlikely we can grow it fast enough to keep up with escalating demand,” adding, “so we also need to make sure we leverage teams and technology, and relieve the workforce from unnecessary regulatory and payer burden.”
The series will provide attendees an opportunity to learn about and share innovative strategies on how to grow their workforce faster and leverage top-of-skill practice, teams and technology to keep up with demand. The next session in the series, “Identifying and Relieving Workforce Burden” will be held May 12. Registration will open soon.
2026 WHA Wisconsin Health Care Workforce Webinar Series - Part 1: Annual Workforce Report is available in WHA’s On Demand Learning Center for WHA members.
