Marshfield Medical Center-Eau Claire collaborated with the Eau Claire Area School District to provide a community awareness event focused on suicide prevention and resiliency. Over 60 community members attended and participated in the viewing of the documentary “The Ripple Effect,” which highlights the story of Kevin Hines, who attempted to take his life by jumping from the Golden Gate Bridge and survived. He has dedicated his life to raising awareness around the importance of mental health. Additionally, 12 community organizations, coalitions and not-for-profits hosted a resource fair.
