Assembly Holds Hearing on WHA-led Inpatient Psychiatric Access Reform Bill

The Assembly Committee on Health, Aging and Long-Term Care held a hearing on November 8 on Assembly Bill 616, which would address restrictions on adults enrolled in the Medicaid fee-for-service program from receiving care in freestanding psychiatric hospitals with more than 16 beds.
