EMS Offers Community Support

Marshfield Medical Center-Park Falls Emergency Medical Services continuously supports their community through multiple events. The Park Falls Ambulance service is one of the few hospital-based ambulance services that respond to 911 calls in Northern Wisconsin. They provide services to 11 communities in three different counties and are dispatched to over 1,000 calls a year. This busy schedule doesn’t stop them from being present at the Flambeau Rama and Pioneer Days to attend to medical needs of the parade goers or 5k runners. The Park Falls Ambulance service also partners with the Park Falls Fire Department each fall to provide education on fire safety and prevention. This year they formed a new partnership with the Park Falls Library and Park Falls Farmers Market and participated in their “touch-a-truck" event. The ambulance service provided an advanced emergency medical technician at the event and allowed kids and families to explore the ambulance, learn about life-saving measures, and discuss important safety topics.
