More Than 900 Students Learn about Health Care Career Opportunities
Froedtert Holy Family Memorial Hospital team members provided education about health care careers and hospital job opportunities and services at the Career Expo at Lakeshore Technical College hosted by The Chamber of Manitowoc County in January.
More than 900 sophomores from Two Rivers High School, Reedsville High School, Valders High School, Mishicot High School, Roncalli High School, McKinley Academy, Lincoln High School and Manitowoc Lutheran High School attended.
The new Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin Center for Health Care Excellence is expected to open in fall 2024 at Lakeshore Technical College. About 1,500 health care and emergency services students will train in the new 17,000-square-foot health skills and education center each year. This will help meet the growing demand for graduates from Lakeshore’s nursing, emergency medical technician, radiology, medical assistant, paramedic, fire medic and other health care and public safety programs.
