Mental health was identified as the top health need for areas served by Froedtert Community Hospital – Mequon, Froedtert Community Hospital – New Berlin, Froedtert Community Hospital – Oak Creek and Froedtert Community Hospital – Pewaukee. The Community Engagement leadership team and a trained meeting facilitator identified the most significant health needs during four Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) workout sessions in January and February.
 
Strategies to address mental health include actively participating on local coalitions to ensure collective impact, providing funding for programs that address mental health and drivers of mental health, offering community education trainings and presentations, and improving access to mental health resources through digital platforms and referral sources.
