Event Information

Title: Promotional Toolkit
Description:

WHA’s annual Advocacy Day will be held on Wednesday, April 9 at the Monona Terrace in Madison. There is no cost to attend Advocacy Day, but pre-registration is required.

Advocacy Day also creates opportunities for hospitals and health systems and their advocates to raise awareness around topics related to health care policy and advocacy on their digital platforms, and to encourage individuals to connect with their local legislators on issues affecting their community.

We encourage advocates to share their experience attending Advocacy Day and connecting with legislators at the Capitol to showcase the importance of grassroots advocacy and good health care policy.

In this toolkit, you will find sample email/newsletter text, as well as accompanying graphics.

Use #WHAAdvocacyDay in your social media posts to increase their visibility. And be sure to follow WHA for Advocacy Day content.

Meeting with your legislators and speaking on your hospital’s behalf during Advocacy Day is essential to educating legislators on hospital and health care issues.

Advocacy Day 2025 promises a great lineup of speakers and sessions, including keynote speaker Matt LaFleur, Head Coach of the Green Bay Packers, and the popular bipartisan legislative panel discussion.
