Upcoming EMResource Reporting Changes: DHS/WHA Webinar
Effective Oct. 4, 2022, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) is optimizing EMResource, the software platform that provides a real-time picture of bed capacity and facilitates time-sensitive communication by nursing homes, hospitals, emergency medical services providers, and other health care partners. EMResource will sunset several metrics to decrease the reporting burden on hospitals and align WI DHS data collection processes with those of the United States Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Great Lakes Healthcare Partnership located in the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Region V. DHS and WHA ask all hospitals to use the EMResource system and join a webinar on Sept. 20, 2022, from 11-11:30 a.m. to discuss the reporting changes and implementation in the system.
