Wisconsin Quality Residency Program 2023 Graduates New Group of Leaders
On Jan. 10, 12 Wisconsin hospital quality improvement leaders received certificates for completing the 2023 Wisconsin Quality Residency Program. There are many things to learn when starting a new position as a health care quality leader and this program provides a comprehensive curriculum of core quality improvement concepts and leadership essentials instructed by experts in the field.
The 12-month program is specifically designed for health care quality leaders new to their role, with limited experience conducting quality improvement and patient safety initiatives in the hospital setting. Learning module topics included regulatory and accreditation requirements, basic risk management skills, quality data reporting methods and useful quality improvement methods.
The Wisconsin Quality Residency Program, created through a partnership between WHA and the Rural Wisconsin Health Cooperative (RWHC), is sponsored in part by the Wisconsin Office of Rural Health.
Congratulations to our 2023 Wisconsin Quality Residency graduates!

The 2024 Wisconsin Quality Residency Program will begin May 8, 2024, with registration coming in February. Watch The Valued Voice for details and more information.
