WHA Physician Leadership Development Conference Registration Closing Soon
Registration and room blocks will be closing soon for the WHA Physician Leadership Development Conference on March 14 and 15 in Kohler. Room blocks for the conference will close on Feb. 20.
The overall focus of this year’s program is on physician leaders’ important role in building positive, impactful physician culture within a team of teams, including strategies that physician leaders at all levels can use to help educate and engage physicians on challenges impacting day-to-day physician practice.
Presentations include:
- Why physician engagement is imperative in tackling external threats to patient care, and how physician leaders can shepherd physician voice to drive positive change, presented by Dr. Chris DeRienzo, MD, Senior Vice President and Chief Physician Executive, American Hospital Association
- An Executive Physician’s Personal Leadership Journey, presented by Dr. Imran Andrabi, MD, President and CEO, Froedtert ThedaCare Health
- Strategies to foster a positive, impactful physician culture within your organization – perspectives from physician and non-physician leaders, a panel discussion of Dr. Jeff Bahr, MD, Chief Aurora Medical Group Officer, Advocate Aurora Health, Dr. Wendy Ledesma, MD, Chief Medical Officer, Sauk Prairie Healthcare, and Brad Groseth, Regional President – Western Wisconsin, Marshfield Clinic Health System
- Identifying and Addressing Current Challenges Impacting Physician Practice in Wisconsin, presented by Eric Borgerding, President and CEO, Wisconsin Hospital Association
