This session will highlight the key cybersecurity risks unique to rural health care and the forces and factors driving cyber-attacks and ransomware to an all-time high across health care. The speaker, Laura Kreofsky, Director of Rural Health Resiliency at Microsoft, leads Microsoft Philanthropies in Rural Health Resiliency that supports building cybersecurity and digital and AI capabilities for rural health care providers across the U.S. Additionally, she will profile new strategies and resources available to rural hospitals and health centers to combat cyber risks and drive AI innovation, including philanthropic product discounts and offers, free trainings and cyber risk assessments.
