WHA met with members of Wisconsin’s Congressional Delegation in Washington, DC on Dec. 9 and 10 to discuss WHA federal advocacy priorities including:

WHA and hospital leaders with Rep. Derrick Van OrdenWHA and hospital leaders with Rep. Derrick Van Orden

  • The subsidy cliff if ACA enhanced premium tax credits expire at the end of the year
  • Health care extenders such as telehealth, Hospital at Home, and Medicare-Dependent and Low-Volume hospital funding before the next Continuing Resolution runs out at the end of January, and
  • The importance of federal approval for Wisconsin Medicaid changes enacted in the most recent state budget.
