This session will highlight the key cybersecurity risks unique to rural healthcare and the forces and factors driving cyber-attacks and ransomware to an all-time high across healthcare. Laura Kreofsky, Director, Rural Health Resiliency, at Microsoft, will be the speaker. Kreofsky leads Microsoft Philanthropies work in Rural Health Resiliency that supports building cybersecurity and digital and AI capabilities for rural healthcare providers across the U.S. Additionally, she will profile new strategies and resources available to rural hospitals and health centers to combat cyber risks and drive AI innovation, including philanthropic product discounts and offers, free trainings and cyber risk assessments.
