Casey Zimpel has joined the WHA quality improvement team as a clinical quality improvement manager. Her position at WHA will focus on Superior Health Chronic Disease Management initiatives.
Zimpel comes to WHA with 26 years of health care experience, most recently working for Crossing Rivers Health as a quality and risk management coordinator. She has experience in a variety of areas including quality, risk, safety and regulatory compliance. Zimple was also an assisted living administrator, served on a nursing home board of trustees and has experience overseeing programs offering durable medical equipment, pharmacy, home infusion and chronic disease management services.
Zimpel has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Chamberlain University.
“Casey has many years of health care experience lending to her diverse perspectives, having experience in hospital quality & compliance, serving on a nursing home board of trustees, and as an assisted living administrator. Having Casey on our team with skills that translate across the continuum will be very valuable,” said WHA Chief Quality Officer Nadine Allen.
