Partners of WHA, Inc. is inviting nominations for its two annual awards designed to recognize outstanding programs and people who epitomize the valuable contributions of volunteer work to health care in Wisconsin.
WAVE (Wisconsin Award for Volunteer Excellence)
The WAVE program was established by Partners of WHA, Inc., to recognize outstanding contributions of organized volunteer programs, and is patterned after the American Hospital Association HAVE (Hospital Award for Volunteer Excellence) program. The WAVE award recognizes volunteer programs whose work directly furthers the mission of the institution they serve. One WAVE may be given to a program in each of the following four categories: community service; fundraising; in-service; and community outreach and/or collaboration. Best of the Best Administrative Award
The annual “Best of the Best Administrative Award” honors one top on-site administrator of a Wisconsin hospital who demonstrates a cooperative, supportive, enthusiastic and well-defined relationship with his or her volunteer organization. The Best of the Best Award nomination form can be found here.
