WHA Launches Online Health Care Glossary
In response to feedback from its members, WHA has created an interactive online glossary of common health care terms and acronyms.
The association has for many years published and shared with members a printed glossary. Moving this tool online makes it more user friendly and allows for more frequent updates.
The glossary is geared toward hospital and health system board members and those who are new to the industry and may be overwhelmed by unfamiliar terminology they hear in meetings. The glossary is searchable and printable and includes an option for users to submit new entries.
WHA members can access the health care glossary from the Resources page within the member portal.
