Registration Opens Nov. 19 for the WHA Wisconsin Healthcare Workforce Salary Survey

WHA, in partnership with the Wisconsin Healthcare Human Resources Association (WisHHRA), will open registration for their 2025 Wisconsin Health Care Workforce Salary Survey on Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2024. The statewide and peer group results will be available to WHA and WisHHRA member participants at no cost.

The co-branded WHA-WisHHRA survey will collect incumbent-level salary information for management, non-management and executive job codes as of January 1, 2025. This year’s compensation survey will also include turnover and benefits surveys. Results will be available to participants in early April 2025. If you don’t participate you will not be able to access the results.

The inaugural co-branded Wisconsin Health Care Workforce Salary Survey in 2023 was a strong start, with 123 facilities submitting data, representing about 90% of the hospitals and health systems in the state joined by WisHHRA members from clinics and other health care employment settings. Continued strong participation, along with enhanced registration, data validation and reporting processes improved the 2024 survey and reporting capabilities for participating hospitals, health systems and health care employers as they work through the many workforce issues facing the industry.

The third annual WHA-WisHHRA survey will include queries on salary, turnover, and benefits to offer participants a wide range of recruitment and retention data for their workforce efforts. WHA and WisHHRA are committed to continuing to improve participation and create a more complete dataset in the 2025 Wisconsin Health Care Workforce Salary Survey.

WHA and WisHHRA members will receive an email from salarydata@wha.org on Nov. 19, 2024. This registration will enhance education, information and communication for survey participants. Registering will also provide you access to the data specifications for submission to allow you to prepare now for the opening of the survey on Jan. 2, 2025.

If you have questions about registering for the 2025 WHA Wisconsin Health Care Workforce Salary Survey, contact WHA Senior Vice President of Workforce and Clinical Practice Ann Zenk, WHA Information Center Data Analyst Emily Holden or WHA Information Center Vice President Brian Competente.
