Registration Open for WHA Telehealth Webinar Series

Registration is now open for three 1-hour webinars offered by WHA focusing on telehealth. The webinars will be available live and on-demand and are complimentary to WHA members. 
 
The initial three webinars, starting Dec. 12, will focus on:
 
  • State telehealth public policy, including the latest status on telehealth public policy in Wisconsin, the outlook for future telehealth public policy, and WHA’s telehealth advocacy.
  • Federal telehealth public policy, including the current status of telehealth flexibilities in the public health emergency and the status and outlook for federal action to make such flexibilities permanent.
  • The intersection of labor and employment law and telehealth, including navigating issues when utilizing out-of-state providers issues, presented by attorneys Tom O’Day and Kelsey Toledo from Husch Blackwell LLP.

The new telehealth webinar series will continue into 2023, with registration opened in the future for additional webinars focusing on telehealth regulatory and reimbursement requirements unique to rural facilities and behavioral health facilities, as well as leveraging grants and community partnerships to build telehealth capacity.
