Register Now for the WHA Wisconsin Healthcare Workforce Salary Survey

Survey launch scheduled for Jan. 3, 2024
Nearly 100 hospitals and health systems have already registered for the 2024 WHA Wisconsin Healthcare Workforce Salary Survey. Join your peers and register for the survey if you have not already done so.

WHA, in partnership with the Wisconsin Healthcare Human Resources Association (WisHHRA), launched the salary survey for the first time in 2023. The survey, and statewide and peer group results, will be available again in 2024 to member participants at no cost. The co-branded WHA-WisHHRA survey will collect incumbent-level salary information for management, non-management and executive job codes as of Jan. 1, 2024. Results will be available to participants in early April 2024.

WHA and WisHHRA had great participation last year and have learned from the first year of the survey. The registration process is one example of an enhancement to the data collection and reporting process to ensure an impactful resource for assisting hospitals and health systems as they work through the many workforce issues facing the industry. In addition to a new registration process, participants are being asked to submit a minimum set of job codes to participate, which will enhance the ability to create and compare peer groups.

The inaugural co-branded compensation survey in 2023 was a strong start, with 123 facilities submitting data, representing about 90% of the hospitals and health systems in the state. WHA is committed to continuing to improve participation and create an even more complete dataset in the 2024 Wisconsin Health Care Workforce Salary Survey, which creates a more valuable member benefit for WisHHRA and WHA members.
