WHA On Capitol Hill Urges Congress to Address Rural Hospital Issues and Extend Incentives for Value-
WHA was joined by hospital leaders from across Wisconsin for a visit to Capitol Hill on June 21. The group of health care advocates visited Wisconsin's congressional delegation to build support for fixing several rural health care issues and extending a key incentive for value-based payment reforms.

Third Webinar on Reducing Readmissions Draws Statewide Participation
On June 9, WHA held its third webinar for the readmissions quality initiative with the goal of reducing 30-day readmissions for heart failure, pneumonia, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and heart attack. The session drew close to 40 participants from 20 critical access and small rural hospitals’ continuing participation.
