Webinar on New Federal Substance Use Records Rule Open for Registration
Quarles & Brady attorneys Sarah Coyne and Ashleigh Giovannini will present a review of the changes to the federal 42 CFR Part 2 substance use disorder records confidentiality rule during a WHA-hosted webinar on Thursday, April 25, 2024, from 12 – 1 p.m.
The webinar will include a review of some welcome amendments to better align the 42 CFR Part 2 regulations with HIPAA standards, some new operational challenges presented by the final rule, and a checklist of suggested action items to accomplish before enforcement begins in the third quarter of 2025.
