Phyo Aung joined the Wisconsin Hospital Association Information Center as a data visualization analyst on June 10, 2024. Aung brings a wealth of experience and a passion for leveraging data to drive impactful insights.
Before joining WHA, Aung served as a data analyst and BI (business intelligence) developer at GE Healthcare, where he played a pivotal role in project coordination and development. His expertise in advanced business intelligence reporting techniques has enabled him to craft multiple Power BI dashboards, facilitating data-driven decision-making processes.
Prior to his tenure at GE Healthcare, Aung honed his skills in health care analytics at the Wisconsin Department of Health Services. There, he conducted comprehensive financial research and complex big data analysis, generating reports and dashboards on trend analysis and policy research.
Phyo holds a Master of Science degree in Applied Economics from Marquette University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Business Administration from North Dakota State University.
